Marchantia quadrata Scopoli

Family: Marchantiaceae

Status: Native

Synonyms:
Preissia quadrata (Scop.) Nees

Marchantia quadrata is quite similar to Marchantia polymorpha. M. quadrata differs from Marchantia polymorpha in the absence of gemmae cups. The thalli of M. quadrata are pale green and have purple margins.
