Mollugo cerviana is an erect herb with glaucous, linear leaves in whorls. The stems are
slender. The capsules are spherical, brown and finely reticulate. Mollugo cerviana is found on dry sandbars and is much more highly branched and more delicate than the similar Drymaria molluginea which prefers forest habitat.
