Muhlenbergia fragilis Swallen
(Delicate Muhly)
Family: Poaceae
Status: Native
Synonyms:
None
Muhlenbergia fragilis is one of our annual Muhly
grasses. It looks as delicate as its
name would imply. The panicle is open, and the pedicles are straight and more
than 2mm long. The glumes are glabrous, which helps differentiate this species
from M. sinuosa and M. minutissima.
