Muhlenbergia minutissima is a delicate annual Muhly. The first glume has one nerve and the open panicle branches do not fall as a unit. The lemmas are awnless. The glumes are pubescent. The spreading terminal pedicels are mostly longer than 5mm. Muhlenbergia minutissima is found on moist, rocky slopes.
