Muhlenbergia gracillima Torrey
Muhlenbergia torreyi is aptly termed "Ring Muhly." It characteristically grows
in open areas in full sunlight and forms low rings. Large areas can be occupied by many plants
with adjacent rings after grazing has eliminated competition. The leaf blades are less than a millimeter
in width and curving.
