Nuttallanthus canadensis sensu W&S
Nuttallanthus texanus usually has one or two erect stems with basal leaves that quickly yellow and wilt. The flowers form racemes and are lavender with a striking threadlike spur at the rear that is as long as the rest of the corolla. The cauline leaves are linear.
