Orobanchaceae
(Broomrape Family)


The Orobanchaceae are root parasites, both with or without chlorophyll. They have long tubular flowers. Some of these genera were formerly of the Scrophulariaceae, and have recently been reclassified by the APG II. The Orobanchaceae no longer consists solely of plants without chlorophyll.
