Peltigera polydactylon (Necker) Hoffm.
Many-fruited Pelt

Peltigera polydactylon is a large foliose lichen that is loosely attached to its substrate. When dry and in the sun, it is brown in color. The undersurface has a network of low, relatively broad brown veins. The apothecia are found on upturned thallus lobes and are orange in color and saddle-shaped. Peltigera polydactylon is found on moss-covered rocks.
