None

Phleum pratense is a tall, perennial clump grass. There is one floret per spikelet. The flattened spikelets are densely packed on the narrow inflorescence. The glumes have short awns and have obvious cilia on the nerve on the keel. Phleum pratense is found growing around corrals in the wilderness.
