Polypogon monspeliensis looks just like a rabbit's foot, stout and fuzzy. The spikelets contain one floret. The glumes both have awns that can be up to 10mm in length. The main body of the glumes and the floret is only about 1-2mm long without the awn.
This annual likes wet disturbed ground.
