Pyrrocoma crocea is shown here as photographed by Bob Sivinski in a wet meadow at upper elevation. It is a perennial with mostly solitary heads. The rays are orange yellow and leaves are entire but reduced upward on the flowering stem. Pyrrocoma crocea is more commonly seen in northern New Mexico.
