Status: Native

Synonyms:
Rhoeidium microphyllum (Engelmann) Greene

Rhus microphylla has compound leaves with 5 to 9 pubescent leaflets. The flowers appear before the leaves and have 5 small white petals with a reddish center. Rhus microphylla forms a spreading shrub on dry hillsides in the lower elevations in the Gila.
