Riccia sorocarpa is a complex thalloid liverwort that forms small rosettes. It has a reticulated surface with a deep median groove. The dorsal surface is spongy due to air chambers. The cross section of the thallous is almost semicircular. Riccia sorocarpa is found at higher elevations. Thanks to John Brinda for confirming the ID of this liverwort!
