Rubus rubicundus (Wooton & Standley) Tidestrom

Rubus neomexicanus does not have prickles or bristles. The leaves are simple and shallowly five lobed. It is found in wet canyons at middle to upper elevation. Rubus deliciosus var. neomexicanus can form a shrub several feet tall. The flowers are quite large for the genus, 2-3 cm across and usually appear singly and not in clusters.
