Rumex mexicanus Meisner

Rumex salicifolius Weinmann var. mexicanus (Meisner) C.L. Hitchcock
Rumex mexicanus is a middle elevation herb with crowded flower spikes and linear-lanceolate long leaves which are not crisped (wrinkled at the edge.) The valves all have callosities and are about 3mm long.
Rumex mexicanus is an erect perennial. It is found in dry waste areas along the roadside at middle elevations.
