None

Rumex orthoneurus is most notable for its large glabrous leaf blades up to 50 cm long. The stems are sometimes over a meter tall. The valves have no callosities. The name "orthoneurus" comes from the observation that the lateral veins are at right angles to the midvein. Rumex orthoneurus is found in moist seepy areas in the mountains.
