Jungermannia sphaerocarpa Hooker
Solenostoma sphaerocarpum has leaves that are remarkably circular in outline. There are 4-9 oil bodies per cell.
Underleaves and gemma are absent. Rhizoids are not in clusters but some arise from leaf bases. The sporophyte is nearly
spherical.
