Sonchus oleraceus Linnaeus

Sonchus oleraceus is very similar to Sonchus asper, except that it is less prickly and
the auricles are more acute. The mature achenes are transversely tuberculate, unlike Sonchus
asper in which the achenes are only many-nerved.
