Stellaria porsildii Chinnappa
(Porsild's Starwort)

Status: Species of Concern USFWS and State of NM, Sensitive Species USFS

Synonyms:
None

Stellaria porsildii is a small herb with five deeply cleft terminal white flowers. The stems are weakly ascending and the opposite leaves are narrowly lanceolate. It has three styles and a superior ovary. Stellaria porsildii is found at middle to upper elevations in the Ponderosa forest.
