Tayloriellina microphyllina (Tuck.) Søchting & Arup

Synonyms:
Caloplaca microphyllina (Tuck.) Hasse
Tayloriellina microphyllina is a small crustose orange lichen that grows on wood. It resembles the genus Caloplaca,
and indeed used to be placed in that genus. The apothecia have an orange disc and
an orange rim. The squamules are orange as well and densely sorediate. The soredia are orange also. The apothecium is bright red
in KOH.
