Thuidium delicatulum (Hedw.) Schimp. var. repens Kindb.
Thuidium delicatulum is a medium to large sized moss that looks like a miniature fern. The fronds are 2-3 pinnate and flat. The leaves have a large conical papilla on each surface that may be angled toward the apex. The branch leaves are smaller than the stem leaves. There are obvious branched and papillose paraphyllia present. Thuidium delicatulum is found at upper elevation in moist areas near perennial water.
