Synonyms:
Tragia nepetifolia Cavanilles var. ramosa (Torrey) Mueller Argoviensis
Tragia stylaris Mueller Argoviensis

Tragia ramosa is a spreading herb with strongly dentate lanceolate leaves. The herbage is armed with stiff stinging hairs. The minute flowers and fruit are easy to miss.
