Tragopogon dubius Scopoli
(Yellow Salsify)

Status: Exotic

Synonyms:
None

Tragopogon dubius is found in dry open areas and along roadsides in low to mid elevations. The flowerheads are pale yellow with an obviously elongate peduncle. The floral bracts well exceed the petals in length. There are about 13 long green phyllaries present.
