(Red Clover)

Status: Exotic

Synonyms:
None

Trifolium pratense is found in meadows at middle to upper elevations. The flowers are held above the main portion of the plant and are reddish purple. The calyx is pubescent. Each leaf is marked by a chevron which is lighter green than the rest of the leaf.
