Uropappus pruinosus Greene
Uropappus lindleyi is most notable for the very silvery, coarse, spherical
appearance to the achenes and pappus before they are dispersed. The inflorescence
is yellow but rather pale, with finely toothed rays. The bud is elongate. Uropappus
lindleyi is found in dry ground, frequently in disturbed areas.
