Family: Plantaginaceae, formerly Scrophulariaceae

Status: Native

Synonyms:
Veronica buxbaumii Tenori
Veronica tournefortii K. Gmelin

Veronica persica has been found in Silver City as a yard weed. Blue flowers are borne singly on pedicels that are 15-30mm long. The corollas are 8-12mm across. It is native to Eurasia.
