Synonyms:
Helianthus dentatus Cavanilles
Viguiera texana Torrey & Gray

Viguiera dentata has flowers which are similar to other Viguieras, with yellow disc and ray flowers. However, it has larger leaves than other Viguieras. The leaves are triangular in shape and toothed.
