Zinnia grandiflora Nuttall

Crassina grandiflora (Nuttall) Kuntze
Zinnia grandiflora is a small herb with a few ovate yellow ray flowers and a columnar
orange disc raised above the ray flowers. The leaves are gray-green and linear. Zinnia
grandiflora is found in dry meadows and hillsides in full sunlight. The disc achenes are slightly ribbed, and the ray achenes are angled. There is no pappus.
