The ITV department’s videoconferencing equipment and software allows individuals to hold face-to-face, near-real time conversations even when separated by dozens, hundreds, even thousands of miles.  Through our bridging service, we are able to connect multiple sites into a single meeting, allowing individuals in several different locations to converse simultaneously with one another.  This capability also allows a single professor to teach classes in several different, widely separated locations, without having to travel or deliver multiple, identical lectures.

The ITV website contains links to descriptions of all the ITV capable rooms on campus.  The link to the videoconference request form is found under the Internal Forms link in the Site Facilities section of the website.  Numbers to contact the ITV and IT departments can be found on the “Contact Information” section of the site, along with links to email ITV and the Trouble Report form.  The “Site Facilites” tab includes links to descriptions of the various devices featured in ITV classrooms, as well as descriptions of the available rooms and contact information for the departments that manage those rooms
