  1. Senate Bill Number 011- Allocation of funds not to exceed $297.00 to pay for ASWNMU’s American Student Government Association membership. Senate bill 011 is sponsored by Senator Arganda and cosponsored by Senator Chavez.
  2. Senate Bill Number 014- Allocation of funds not to exceed $500 for Fall 2017 supplies for ASWNMU. Senate bill 014 is sponsored by Senator Chavez and is cosponsored by Arganda.

 IX. New Business 

  1. Senate Bill Number 019- Re-recognition of Clubs for Fall 2017, the following clubs: Student Interfaith Alliance, Marketing Club, Delta Mu Delta, Circle K International, and Psychology Club. Allocation of funds not to exceed $100 within the purview of the Associated Students of Western New Mexico University. Senate Bill 019 is sponsored by Senator Diaz and cosponsored by Senator Arganda.
  2. Senate Bill Number 020- Recognition of Clubs for Fall 2017.The following clubs will be recognized: Rotaract club and Black Student Union. Allocation of funds not to exceed $150 within the purview of the Associated Students of Western New Mexico University. Senate Bill 020 is sponsored by Senator Chavez and cosponsored by Senator Smith.
  3. Senate Bill Number 021– Allocation of funds not to exceed $2,500 for Scholarships for Mustang Entertainment. There are six scholarships: 2 at $250 and 4 at $500 each. The following students will receive scholarships: Breanna Devaughn – President $500, Anthony Polk – Co-Vice President $250, Ashantae Harry – Co-Vice President $250, Estrella Sicairos – Secretary $500, Leshauntai Harry – Treasure $500, and Hannah Koch – Public Relations $500. Senate Bill 021 is sponsored by Senator Moreno and cosponsored by Senator Partido.
  4. Senate Bill Number 022– Allocation of funds not to exceed $108.00 for Education in Media Forum presented by American National Government class within the purview of the Associated Students of Western New Mexico University. Senate Bill 022 is sponsored by Senator Arganda and cosponsored by Chavez.
  5. Senate Bill Number 023– Allocation of funds not to exceed $400.00 for Alumni Golf Tournament sponsorship within the purview of the Associated Students of Western New Mexico University. Senate Bill 023 is sponsored by Senator Partido and cosponsored by Senator Moreno
  6. Senate Bill Number 024– Allocation of funds not to exceed $183.00 for District 2 events. $108.00 for Pizza for Halloween Party for District 2 and $75.00 for supplies for Education in the Media forum. Senate Bill 024 is sponsored by Senator Gonzalez and cosponsored by Senator Kester.
