Silver City author Bill Charland will be doing a reading and discussion regarding his new book, “Tenuous State,” on July 10 in Miller Library from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
Bill Charland is the author of nine books and “Tenuous State” is his third novel. Once a careers columnist at the nationally distributed Rocky Mountain News, he wrote extensively for the Christian Science Monitor and served in higher education over a span of 50 years. He entered the field in 1961, while still in graduate school, and left when he retired from a part-time position at Western New Mexico University in 2011.
