Blues for Polio is a showcase of local musicians and is presented by the Rotary Club of Silver City to benefit Rotary International’s program to eradicate polio.

Blues for Polio will be held Saturday, November 5, at 7 p.m. in WNMU Light Hall Theater. A reception with the artists will take place before the concert.

The showcase will feature Amos Torres, Ed Wheeler, Blues Dawg Band, Jammin’ Jeff, Deyon Janyes and Ian Valenzuela with a special performance by Rachel Ross.

$15 general admission
Tickets available at the door or in advance at First Savings Bank (1221 N. Hudson St.) or Edward Jones/Niel McDonald (816 N. Hudson St.).

$75 for one ticket to the reception with the artists
The catered event with beer, wine and appetizers will be held on Light Hall Patio from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Sponsors include: Edward Jones/Niel McDonald, 1st New Mexico Bank of Silver City, Western New Mexico University, Personal Trainer Bobby Carrillo and the Southwest Word Fiesta.
