The Hall of Fame was founded at Western New Mexico University to recognize and honor teachers who have demonstrated a dominant interest in classroom teaching and have devoted the major portion of their professional careers to classroom teaching at the primary, secondary or higher education levels. Nominees must be bachelor’s or master’s degree graduates of WNMU or its predecessor institutions.
