Delta Mu Delta honor society is hosting Bruce Ashburn for its upcoming Guest Lecture Series speaker.
Bruce Ashburn has been a part of the Southwestern New Mexico Community since 1995. Originally coming to Southwest New Mexico to open a Domino’s Pizza Franchise, Ashburn opened his first unit in Silver City in 1995 and a unit in Deming the following year. After selling those franchise rights in 2006, Ashburn went to work for the Small Business Development Center housed at WNMU. There he focused on Economic Development; more specifically on Business Retention and Expansion by working with small businesses in the local four county area. Ashburn is currently the Community Manager for PNM in Southwest New Mexico. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Management and Supervision from Western New Mexico University. He is joined in the community by his wife, Charlene, a daughter and three very active grandchildren.
