- Followed by an extravaganza (with over 30 performers) by Mariachi Canto a mi Tierra and Ballet Folklorico de la UACJ
Mariachi Canto a mi Tierra
Mariachi Canto a mi Tierra, directed by Jaime Mata Nevarez, is part of the artistic and cultural groups of the Universidad Autonoma de Ciudad Juarez (UACJ) since 2010. Its mission is to encourage the young values of Mexican music and rescue traditions. Comprise of 13 members (students from the UACJ), with a wide repertoire of traditional Mexican genre.
Ballet Folklorico de la UACJ
La Compania de Danza Folclorica, under the address of Yadonara Bernal Chavez, is part of the artistic and cultural groups of he Universidad Autonoma de Ciudad Juarez (UACJ) since 1990. Its mission is to contribute to the conservation and development of the artistic heritage of our country through its preservation and promotion at all levels. It is comprised of 50 members (the majority students and graduates UACJ).
This event is part of the Silver City Dia de los Muertos celebration.
