In the wake of the recent parkland school shooting where 17 more lost their lives, students took action and announced a march on Washington this Saturday. Silver City will join other communities around the country to support this national March For Our Lives. We’ll gather with students, parents, teachers, and members of our community, because there is no such thing as “too soon” to talk about gun violence – there is only “too late.” Thoughts and prayers alone are not enough. We must demand action to end gun violence.
Its time to change our country’s conversation about gun violence!
It is time to make the lives and safety of all priority.
The collective voices of the March For Our Lives movement will be heard.
