The WNMU Native American Student Alliance is sponsoring “Rock Your Mocs,” on Wednesday, November 16, to encourage campus community members to celebrate Native American Month by wearing moccasins or Turquoise Awareness Ribbons for this organized event. This is a positive opportunity to be united and celebrate tribal individuality by wearing moccasins. The WNMU Native American Student Alliance honors indigenous peoples worldwide during the commemoration of National Native American Heritage Month.
