(Death Camas Family)


Melanthiaceae are perennials from bulbs or rhizomes. The flowers usually have 3 petals and sepals, and they are similar to each other. The leaves have parallel veins and can be either linear or broad. In the past, these plants have belonged to the Liliaceae.
