    Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, El Paso Electric Company

    Mary Kipp, El Paso Electric’s Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer is responsible for oversight of El Paso Electric’s Legal Affairs, Compliance, Public Relations and External Affairs, Environmental, Health and Safety and Regulatory Services. She is active in numerous community organizations, including the Greater El Paso Chamber of Commerce (Governing Board), the Borderplex Binational Economic Alliance (Leadership Group), thePaso del Norte Health Foundation (Finance Council), the Sun Bowl Association (Board of Directors) and Executive Forum. Mary grew up in Lordsburg, New Mexico; graduated with a BA, cum laude from Williams College, Williamstown, MA; received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, TX and attended Exeter College, Oxford University in the UK.

    Catherine Allen

    Founder, Chairman and CEO of The Santa Fe Group

    For more than 30 years, Catherine A. Allen has been an outstanding leader in technology strategy and financial services and a luminary in business innovation. Catherine has won accolades from industry, government, academia, business groups and the press for her success in fostering innovation, promoting new technologies, and bringing stakeholders together to address common challenges. Catherine sits on the boards of Stewart Title Guaranty Company, Synovus Financial, and El Paso Electric Company. She sits on the Advisory Board of Houlihan Lokey Investment Banking firm. Catherine is chair of the Board of Trustees for the National Foundation for Credit Counseling.

    Deborah Peacock, P.E.

    President/CEO and Chair of Peacock Myers, P.C., Intellectual Property Legal Services

    A graduate of Harvard Law School and Colorado School of Mines, Deborah Peacock is a Registered Patent Attorney (U.S.), a licensed attorney (NM, CO and NY) and a registered Professional Engineer (NM and CO). She practices in all areas of intellectual property, including patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, art law, licensing, joint ventures, acquisitions and litigation. Her clients are primarily start-up and small businesses, from all over the world. Deborah serves as Chair of the State of New Mexico Environmental Improvement Board and as a Regent of the New Mexico Institute of Mining & Technology. She is also on the Boards of Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, Explora Science Center and Children's Museum, Albuquerque Community Foundation, and New Mexico Angels (start-up company investments).
