Join us in inspiring your community to embrace the example of inclusion and acceptance set by Mount Horeb, Wisconsin! When an anti-LGBT hate group’s threats of legal action forced a Mount Horeb school to cancel plans to support a young transgender student by reading “I Am Jazz,” co-authored by a transgender girl, the community rose up and put courage before fear. More than 600 people -- from grandparents to school children -- packed the school library for a reading of the book organized by an amazing parent who simply wanted to support the girl and her family. The outpouring of support drew national attention, and, in coming days, the school board approved trans-inclusive policies for all Mount Horeb Schools.
