Associate Professor of Computer Science Gerald Burgess will be having a department seminar at the GRC building in Room 101. This will be a working session (read: no PowerPoint). We will be creating a project out of our heads during this workshop. Participation will be critical. Burgess will play the role of project management guide and project champion. All the attendees will play the role of a project team member. For those who would like to ponder the project beforehand, it is “Course Creation – what are all the activities or steps that we will need to do to prepare for a new or redesigned course?” If you wish to bring notes, Burgess will be transcribing your thoughts into two- to five-word phrases, which will become the input data for creating a PERT chart. If you would like to quicken the interaction during the workshop, you can prepare your activity list in short phrases.
