8th Natural History of the Gila Symposium

The 8th Natural History of the Gila Symposium runs February 27-29,2020. Events will occur on February 27 from 1 to 8 p.m., February 28 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and February 29 from 8 a.m. to noon. A Thursday night "Creative Voice" session will feature local and regional writers who will present their impressions of the Gila Region. Saturday morning field trips will provide attendees the opportunity to learn about archaeology, birds, geology, plants, et cetera of this unique area. The Natural History of the Gila Symposium has a mission to provide a venue for researchers, land managers, conservationists, and educators to meet and share information and ideas gathered from the Gila Region including watersheds and neighboring areas extending into southwestern New Mexico, southeastern Arizona and Mexico.
