Southwest Word Fiesta

Southwest Word Fiesta takes place October 19-24 with over 20 events featuring 40 authors. Most sessions are virtual and everything is free and open to the public. Audience members need to register at swwordfiesta.org, where they'll also find the full schedule. As the major sponsor, WNMU is hosting several of the face-to-face events taking place on campus. Jack Crocker in Conversation with JJ Amaworo Wilson

In Light Hall Auditorium on Thursday, October 21, from 6 – 8 p.m., WNMU Writer in Residence JJ Amaworo Wilson will give a talk and reading, followed by a public conversation with WNMU Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Jack Crocker, who is the inaugural Mimbres Press at WNMU author. The audience will have an opportunity to ask questions. At the close of the event, Wilson will sell and sign copies of his new novel "Nazaré."
