Pam Kuthe Memorial Dedication

Western New Mexico University will dedicate the recently installed sculpture of former faculty member Pam Kuthe in front of the School of Nursing Building. Members of Kuthe’s family will be present to remember Kuthe and dedicate the sculpture. Refreshments will be served following the ceremony.  Kuthe, who retired from WNMU in 2007 and passed away in 2020, was a long-time Silver City nurse, a dedicated educator and a valued colleague. She was recognized as a Nursing Legend by the New Mexico Center for Nursing Excellence, and she was pivotal in establishing the modern nursing program at WNMU, which graduated its first class of associate degree students in 1993.
