Free tax help for low-income families and individuals as well as seniors. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program (VITA) is a part of Tax Help New Mexico and offers free tax preparation assistance to low-income families and individuals as well as seniors. Students work as volunteers at the WNMU site, one of the state’s 48 locations.
