At the Mustang Legends banquet during Western New Mexico University’s 2018 homecoming week, WNMU will remember when Tom Powers, Rosemary Garcia and Alfred J. “Al” O’Malley roamed campus and remember when the new Student Government, Education and Student Hall of Fame inductees made their marks.
In addition to celebrating the 2018 Alumni Hall of Fame inductees during the banquet, WNMU also will remember when its Women’s Recreation Association softball team won the 1967 state championship and remember when the Mustangs couldn’t do without athletes Trey Clarkson, Yair Banuelos, Nicole Luna and Janette Carrillo.
