Chad Colby – Solo Painting Exhibition

Solo Painting Exhibition — January 17th to February 1st

Chad Colby is a studio artist who focuses on oil painting and exhibits his work locally and nationally. As a professor at Fort Lewis College, he spent the 2011-2012 academic year working in western Mexico on a creative project developing a series of mixed media works on paper, which he later displayed at La Fabrica de San Pedro in Uruapan, Michoacan, Mexico, and the Dairy Center for the Arts in Boulder, CO.

Chad was selected as the fall 2007 Featured Scholar at Fort Lewis College. He has received other awards and distinctions, including an Artist Fellowship from the Colorado Council on the Arts (2002) and the Best of Colorado exhibition at the Denver International Airport (2006).
