SPECIAL ROUNDTABLE Tuesday, April 28, 10:00 AM WNMU Light Hall Theater BOUTIQUE AIR’s Introduction to Grant County By Mat Butcher, Director of Operations for Boutique Air The Gila EDA would like to encourage businesses and citizens of Grant County and the surrounding area to attend this Special Roundtable, which is a collaboration of the Gila EDA, WNMU, and our new air essential service in Silver City, Boutique Air. We intend to give you the opportunity to get to know the air service to our area and the benefits they provide. Mat Butcher will be presenting on behalf of this new and growing business at Light Hall on the WNMU campus at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 28th (the day before the Tour of the Gila begins). A consistent and dependable air service in Silver City is important – and we want to make sure we support their efforts and keep them well utilized so that they are successful in this market. Queer & Undocumented: Bridging Conversations Across Identities and Communities is an educational workshop that focuses on starting conversations among a variety of audiences about the intersectionality that exists among the LGBTQ and immigrant communities. Audiences will have the opportunity to examine commonalities between communities by learn how immigration policies have historically affected both communities, as well as learn why it's important to organize for collective action.
