The Francis McCray Gallery of Contemporary Art is Western New Mexico University’s premier art gallery.

The McCray Gallery, named after esteemed artist, educator and past resident of Silver City, Francis McCray, provides the campus and community with exhibitions showcasing the work of student, regional, national and international artists.

The McCray Gallery also operates as the repository for WNMU’s permanent art collection, which now includes work from the collection of iconic Silver City artist, Harry Benjamin.
