The annual Southwest Festival of the Written Word is taking place beginning Friday through Sunday. WNMU is a sponsor of this event which includes 40 free sessions to the community featuring well-known writers, as well as theater and performance pieces. There is also a keynote talk by Stella Pope Duarte in Light Hall Theater on Friday and a play in Parotti Hall on Friday and Saturday directed by Tony Award-winner Mark Medoff.
